Whether you're new to ILAC or just need a refresher, this guide will walk you through the essential digital tools and systems you’ll use every day.

Email & Calendar Access

All ILAC staff are assigned a Microsoft 365 account upon onboarding. Here’s how to get started:

Tip: Enable email notifications on your phone using the Outlook app.

Microsoft Teams & Slack

Teams

  • Ideal for formal meetings, scheduling, and file collaboration

  • Access through Microsoft 365 or the Teams app

  • Channels are organized by department and project

Slack

  • Used for quick chats and informal updates

  • Department-specific channels help keep conversations organized

  • Use /remind and other commands to automate tasks

Tip: Mute non-essential channels to stay focused.

Printing & Wi-Fi Setup

Wi-Fi Access

  • Network: ILAC-Staff

  • Password: Provided on your first day (ask IT or HR)

Printing

  • Use your staff badge or login credentials to release documents at any printer

  • Default printers are set up based on your floor/office

  • Color or duplex printing settings can be adjusted from your computer

Tip: Always double-check your print job before sending large documents.
